Medicines (Orphan Drugs) (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Medicines Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Medicines (Orphan Drugs) (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2001.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  Paragraph 2 of the Medicines (Orphan Drugs) (Exemption) Order (O 12) is amended by deleting the words “Government hospital or” in the definition of “hospital”.
