(Exemption) (No. 10)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 10) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	every “Kiosk Game” to be held, as part of the “Spring Spree” promotion, at designated marketing kiosks within the premises of Marina Bay Sands during the period from 15th April 2011 to 19th May 2011 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	every hourly draw to be held, as part of the “Spring Spree” promotion, at Basement 2 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily during the period from 20th May 2011 to 22nd May 2011 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 14th April 2011.
