Parking Places (Parking of Heavy Vehicles) (Amendment) Rules 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Parking Places Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Parking Places (Parking of Heavy Vehicles) (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2005.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Parking Places (Parking of Heavy Vehicles) Rules (R 4) is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “Private Parking Places” in the definition of “private parking place”, the words “for Heavy Vehicles”.

Amendment of rule 6

3. Rule 6(2) of the Parking Places (Parking of Heavy Vehicles) Rules is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “Private Parking Places”, the words “for Heavy Vehicles”.
