| Immigration (Amendment No. 4) Regulations 1998 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment No. 4) Regulations 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 1998. |
| Amendment of regulation 34 |
| 2. Regulation 34 of the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the words “the Deputy Controller (Operations) duly authorised under section 3 of the Act” and substituting the words “an Immigration officer duly authorised under section 3(2) of the Act to act on behalf of the Controller in this regard”. |
| Amendment of Schedule |
3. The Schedule to the Immigration Regulations is amended by deleting Form 34A and substituting the following Form:
