Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, RAdm (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2009 and shall, with the exception of paragraph 2(a), come into operation on 8th May 2009.
(2)  Paragraph 2(a) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th January 2009.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —
(a)by deleting item 123; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after item 144, the following item:
