Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 19th April 2004.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3(2) of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “value” in sub-paragraph (f) and substituting the words “total value”;

(b)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of sub-paragraph (h); and

(c)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (i) and substituting the word “; or”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(j)	goods being imported, exported or transhipped by air, the total value of which does not exceed $400.”.
