Road Traffic
(Motor Vehicle, Seat Belts) (Amendment)
Rules 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicle, Seat Belts) (Amendment) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 18th May 2012.

Amendment of rule 4

2. Rule 4(6) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts) Rules (R 15) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of sub-paragraph (a)(iv);

(b)

by inserting, at the end of sub-paragraph (a)(v), the word “or”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (v) of sub-paragraph (a), the following sub-paragraph:

“(vi)

the Central Narcotic Bureau;”.
