Business Trusts
(Amendment)
Regulations 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 114 of the Business Trusts Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Business Trusts (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 21st May 2012.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Business Trusts Regulations (Rg 2) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Up to $200 (The fee to be charged will vary depending on the amount of information requested.)” in item 27 and substituting the words “$25 per document”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 27, the following paragraph:

“The fees specified in items 25, 26 and 27 are inclusive of the goods and services tax chargeable under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A). No goods and services tax is chargeable for the other items.”.
