Feeding Stuffs (Licensing, Analysis and Fees)
(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Feeding Stuffs Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Feeding Stuffs (Licensing, Analysis and Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 1 April 2019.

Amendment of rule 8

2. Rule 8 of the Feeding Stuffs (Licensing, Analysis and Fees) Rules (R 1) (called in these Rules the principal Rules) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Veterinary Public Health Laboratory” in paragraphs (1)(c), (2) and (3) and substituting in each case the words “National Centre for Food Science”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Agri‑food and Veterinary Authority” in paragraph (3) and substituting the word “Agency”.

Amendment of rule 10

3. Rule 10 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “Agri‑food and Veterinary Authority” and substituting the word “Agency”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “AGRI-FOOD AND VETERINARY AUTHORITY” and substituting the words “SINGAPORE FOOD AGENCY”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Director-General, Agri‑food and Veterinary Services” and substituting the words “Director‑General, Food Administration”.
