(COVID-19 Safe Workplace)
(Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 65(1) of the Workplace Safety and Health Act 2006, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Workplace Safety and Health (COVID‑19 Safe Workplace) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 29 March 2022.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3(1) of the Workplace Safety and Health (COVID‑19 Safe Workplace) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 992/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “occupy”, the following definition:

“ “open‑air area” has the meaning given by regulation 2(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Reopening — Control Order) Regulations 2022;”.

Amendment of regulation 7

3. Regulation 7(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “50%” and substituting “75%”.

Amendment of regulation 18

4. Regulation 18 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “principal’s work premises” in paragraphs (1) and (2), the words “that is not an open‑air area”.

Amendment of regulation 19

5. Regulation 19(1A) of the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “and regulation 20”; and
(b)	by deleting “5” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “10”.

Deletion of regulation 20

6. Regulation 20 of the principal Regulations is deleted.

Amendment of regulation 30

7. Regulation 30(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “, 20”.
