Films (Classification) (Fees) (Amendment)
Regulations 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Films Act, the Minister for Information and the Arts hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Films (Classification) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 9th April 1998.
New regulation 5
2.  The Films (Classification) (Fees) Regulations (Rg 3) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 4, the following regulation:
Security for due performance of certificate conditions
5.  The Board may, when issuing the certificate approving the exhibition of any classified film, require the owner of the film to give a cash deposit or a bank guarantee of $5,000 for the due performance of all or any of the conditions imposed in the certificate in respect of that film.”.
