Delegation of Powers
(Ministry of Finance) (Amendment)
Notification 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Finance, with the approval of the President, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (Amendment) Notification 2021 and comes into operation on 1 April 2021.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 807/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 7 and 8 under the heading “(A) Ministries and Organs of State” in Part 1 and substituting the following items:

“7.	Deputy Attorney‑General

$50,000

8.	Solicitor‑General/ Chief Executive, Attorney‑General’s Chambers

$50,000”;

(b)

by deleting item 13 under the heading “(A) Ministries and Organs of State” in Part 1 and substituting the following item:

“13.	Principal District Judge (Corporate Services)

$50,000”;

(c)

by deleting items 4 and 5 under the heading “(A) Ministries and Organs of State” in Part 2 and substituting the following items:

“4.	Deputy Attorney‑General

$100,000

5.	Solicitor‑General/ Chief Executive, Attorney‑General’s Chambers

$100,000”; and

(d)

by deleting item 10 under the heading “(A) Ministries and Organs of State” in Part 2 and substituting the following item:

“10.	Principal District Judge (Corporate Services)

$100,000”.
