Optometrists and Opticians (Registration and Practising Certificates) (Amendment) Regulations 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Optometrists and Opticians Act, the Minister for Health, after consulting the Optometrists and Opticians Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Optometrists and Opticians (Registration and Practising Certificates) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2009.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part IV of the First Schedule to the Optometrists and Opticians (Registration and Practising Certificates) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 90/2008) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 2, the following item:

“

3. Republic Polytechnic

Certificate in Opticianry Practice Course

”.
