Regulation of Imports and Exports
(Amendment No. 3) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Trade Development Board, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 17th April 1998.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part A of the First Schedule to the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 4, the following item:

“5.	Mastering equipment and replication equipment for any of the following:

Chief Executive Officer, Trade Development Board.

(a)	CD (compact disc)

(b)	CD-ROM (compact disc-read only memory)

(c)	VCD (video compact disc)

(d)	DVD (digital video disc)

(e)	DVD-ROM (digital video disc-read only memory).”.
