(Exemption) (No. 23)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 23) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Paiza Big Draw 2017” promotion to be held from 30 May 2017 to 30 July 2017 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Paiza buffet area, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	1 July 2017 and 2 July 2017;
(ii)	8 July 2017 and 9 July 2017;
(iii)	15 July 2017 and 16 July 2017;
(iv)	29 July 2017 and 30 July 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
