Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 5) Order 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(13) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 5) Order 2001.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32) is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (a) of item (3) relating to Sumitomo Bank Ltd. and substituting the following paragraph:

“(a)	Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation”; and

(b)

by deleting item (102) relating to The Sakura Bank Ltd.,

with effect from 1st April 2001.
