Active Mobility (Enforcement)
Regulations 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 67 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Active Mobility (Enforcement) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 May 2018.
Manner to claim for seized vehicles
2.—(1)  A person making a claim under section 51(3)(b) of the Act to a seized vehicle to the Authority must do so either by post to the address as stated at the Authority’s official website at http://www.lta.gov.sg or by e‑mail to [email protected]
(2)  A person, when making a claim in accordance with paragraph (1), must provide to the Authority —
(a)all documents that are relied on to prove that he or she owns the seized vehicle; and
(b)such other documents as the Authority may require the person to provide to prove that he or she owns the seized vehicle.
(3)  The documents mentioned in paragraph (2) —
(a)may be provided in either physical or electronic form; and
(b)may be either original documents or copies of such original documents.
(4)  Where a person making a claim provides copies of original documents, whether in physical or electronic form, the Authority may require the person to produce the original document from which the copy was made.
Form of notice to attend court
3.  A notice to be served on a person under section 54 of the Act is to be in the form set out at the Authority’s official website at http://www.lta.gov.sg.
