Fees Act
(Chapter 106)
Fees ( Border Enforcement Measures) Order 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Fees (Border Enforcement Measures) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 24th April 1998.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“authorised officer”, “Director-General” and “copyright material” have the same meaning respectively, as in section 140A of the Copyright Act (Cap. 63);
“conveyance” has the same meaning as in the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act (Cap. 272A);
“seized copies” means copies of copyright material which were seized by an authorised officer under section 140B of the Copyright Act.
Fees
3.  There shall be payable to the Director-General the following fees:
(a)for the processing of a notice referred to in section 140B of the Copyright Act
$200
(b)for the escort of a conveyance conveying seized copies
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(c)for the attendance of an authorised officer in connection with —
 
(i)with survey of seized copies
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(ii)with destruction of seized copies
$55 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(iii)with survey and destruction of seized copies
$55 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(d)for the attendance of an authorised officer in connection with any other act or service under Division 6 (Border Enforcement Measures) of Part V (Remedies for Infringement of Copyright) of the Copyright Act (Cap. 63), as determined by the Director-General
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation.
