Telecommunications (Composition of Offences)
Regulations 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 64 and 74 of the Telecommunications Act 1999, the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Telecommunications (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 5th June 2000.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 64(1) of the Act:
(a)sections 31 (1), 33(1), (3) and (4), 34(2), 35(1) and (3), 39, 40(1), 45, 48 and 52 of the Act;
(b)any provision of the Radio-communication Regulations (Cap. 323, Rg 3);
(c)any provision of the Telecommunication (Dealers) Regulations (Cap. 323, Rg 7);
(d)any provision of the Telecommunication (Internal Wiring) Regulations (Cap. 323, Rg 9); and
(e)regulations 8 (b), (c), (d) and (e) and 12 of the Telecommunications (Cable Detection Workers) Regulations 2000 (G.N. No. S 196/2000).
Revocation
3.  The Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Cap. 323, Rg 8) are revoked.
