Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Disciplinary Proceedings) (Revocation) Regulations 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 131 of the Telecommunication Authority of Singapore Act, the Telecommunication Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Disciplinary Proceedings) (Revocation) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 7th June 1996.

Revocation

2. The Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Disciplinary Proceedings) Regulations (Rg 4) are revoked.

Transitional

3. Where on 7th June 1996, any disciplinary proceedings have been instituted against any officer or employee of the Authority in accordance with the revoked Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Disciplinary Proceedings) Regulations and such proceedings are pending, the proceedings shall be continued under and in conformity with the revoked Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (Disciplinary Proceedings) Regulations as if those Regulations had not been revoked.
