Trade Marks Act

(Chapter 332)

Trade Marks (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Trade Marks Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Trade Marks (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st June 1997.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Trade Marks Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “450” in item 6 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “480”;
(b)	by deleting “250” in item 8 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “270”;
(c)	by deleting “300” in item 9 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “325”;
(d)	by deleting “250” in item 11 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “270”;
(e)	by deleting “300” in item 12 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “325”;
(f)	by deleting “60” in item 23 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “65”;
(g)	by deleting “60” in item 24 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “65”;
(h)	by deleting “250” in item 32 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “270”;
(i)	by deleting “190” in item 34 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “205”;
(j)	by deleting “60” in item 35 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “65”;
(k)	by deleting “30” in item 38 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “32”;
(l)	by deleting “20” in item 44 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “25”;
(m)	by deleting “60” in item 50 under the heading “Amount” and substituting “65”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Trade Marks Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$450” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 7 and substituting “$480”;
(b)	by deleting “$250” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 12 and substituting “$270”;
(c)	by deleting “$300” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 13 and substituting “$325”;
(d)	by deleting “$250” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 15 and substituting “$270”;
(e)	by deleting “$300” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 16 and substituting “$325”;
(f)	by deleting “$60” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 24 and substituting “$65”;
(g)	by deleting “$60” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 25 and substituting “$65”;
(h)	by deleting “$190” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 28 and substituting “$205”;
(i)	by deleting “$60” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 29 and substituting “$65”;
(j)	by deleting “$30” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 32 and substituting “$32”;
(k)	by deleting “$250” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 36 and substituting “$270”;
(l)	by deleting “$20” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 42 and substituting “$25”; and
(m)	by deleting “$60” against the word “Fee” in Form TM 45 and substituting “$65”.
