(Exemption) (No. 25)
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 25) Notification 2015.

Definition

2. In this Notification, “organisers” means —

(a)	the Bukit Gombak Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee; and
(b)	the Guilin Residents’ Committee.

Exemption

3.—(1) The Minister exempts the organisers from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Mind Game Mahjong Challenges 2015” promotion to be held from 11 May 2015 to 21 June 2015 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at the seminar room of Bukit Batok Civil Service Club House as part of that promotion from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 21 June 2015.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organisers with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
