Exemption) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Road Traffic (TRIFACTOR Bike & CycleRun 2023 — Exemption) Order 2023.
(2)  This Order is in force on 28 May 2023 from 2 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“specified event” means the TRIFACTOR Bike & CycleRun 2023 organised by Orange Room Pte. Ltd. (UEN 200811733N) on 28 May 2023;
“specified road” means any of the roads delineated by the black‑coloured lines in the map set out in the Schedule.
Exemption for riding bicycle
3.  Rules 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 10, 11 and 11A of the Road Traffic (Bicycles) Rules (R 3) do not apply to an individual who rides a bicycle on a specified road during and in connection with the specified event.
