Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist
Food Establishments and Tourist Public
Houses) (Amendment) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 17 June 2016.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 327/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items (22), (71), (157), (166) and (197);

(b)

by deleting the words “The Singapore Resort & Spa” in item (192) and substituting the words “Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item (230), the following items:
