Fees (Trade Marks Act — Border Enforcement Measures) Order 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Fees (Trade Marks Act — Border Enforcement Measures) Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 26th January 1999.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“authorised officer” and “Director‑General” have the same meanings respectively as in section 81 of the Trade Marks Act 1998 (Act 46/98);
“conveyance” has the same meaning as in the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act (Cap. 272A);
“seized goods” means goods which were seized by an authorised officer under section 82 of the Trade Marks Act 1998.
Fees
3.  There shall be payable to the Director‑General the following fees:
(a)for the escort of a conveyance conveying seized goods
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(b)for the attendance of an authorised officer in connection with —
 
(i)the survey of seized goods
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(ii)the destruction of seized goods
$55 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(iii)the survey and destruction of seized goods
$55 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation
(c)for the attendance of an authorised officer in connection with any other act or service under Part X of the Trade Marks Act 1998 (Act 46/98), as determined by the Director‑General
$27 per hour or part thereof per continuous operation.
