State Lands (Amendment) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the State Lands Act 1920, the President makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the State Lands (Amendment) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 15 May 2023.

Amendment of rule 4A

2. In the State Lands Rules (R 1), in rule 4A —

(a)

in paragraph (1), replace “The Minister” with “The Minister or Commissioner of Lands”; and

(b)

replace paragraph (3) with —

“(3) An appointment of a statutory body under paragraph (1) may only be made after obtaining the concurrence of the Minister charged with the responsibility for the statutory body.”.
