Exemption) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order is the Road Traffic (Porsche World Road Show Singapore 2023 — Exemption) Order 2023.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“approved participant” means any individual —
(a)who has signed up with, and has been approved by, the organiser before 17 May 2023 to use any specified vehicle during the relevant period and in connection with the specified event; and
(b)whose particulars are submitted by the organiser to the Authority before 17 May 2023 for the purposes of this definition;
“organiser” means the company incorporated under the Companies Act 1967 as Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (UEN 200104559C);
“particulars”, in relation to an individual, means the individual’s full name and either the individual’s personal identification number (such as NRIC number, passport number or foreign identification number) or the last 4 characters of such number;
“relevant period” means the period from 17 May 2023 to 23 May 2023 (both dates inclusive);
“specified event” means the Porsche World Road Show Singapore 2023 organised by the organiser and which takes place between 15 May 2023 and 24 May 2023 (both dates inclusive);
“specified vehicle” means any vehicle bearing any of the registration numbers set out in the Schedule.
Exemption
3.  Section 12(1) and (2) of the Act does not apply to any approved participant in respect of the use of any specified vehicle during the relevant period and in connection with the specified event.
