Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016
(Commencement) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016 (Commencement) Notification 2016.

2. The Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016, except sections 6, 7(b) and (d), 20(2), 21, 22, 47 and 48(4), comes into operation on 1 July 2016.

3. Sections 6, 7(b), 22 and 47 of the Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016 come into operation on 1 October 2016.

4. Sections 21 and 48(4) of the Women’s Charter (Amendment) Act 2016 come into operation on 1 December 2016.
