Town Council of Cheng San (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Cheng San hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Cheng San (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2001.

Amendment of by-law 2

2. The Town Council of Cheng San (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws (By 64) is amended by re-numbering by-law 2 as paragraph (1) of that by-law, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(2) Where a flat in any residential property is provided with Integrated Security System (ISS), the owner or tenant of that flat shall pay an additional $8 per month.”.
