Allied Health Professions
(Registration and Practising Certificates)
(Amendment) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the Allied Health Professions Act, the Allied Health Professions Council, with the approval of the Minister for Health, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Allied Health Professions (Registration and Practising Certificates) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 8 April 2019.

Amendment of Part I of First Schedule

2. Division 2 of Part I of the First Schedule to the Allied Health Professions (Registration and Practising Certificates) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 219/2013) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the word “Country” in the heading of the first column, the words “or territory”; and

(b)

by deleting item 12A relating to the country “Australia” and substituting the following items:

“12A.

University of South Australia

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

12B.

University of South Australia

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)

12C.

University of South Australia

Master of Occupational Therapy”.

Amendment of Part II of First Schedule

3. Division 2 of Part II of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the word “Country” in the heading of the first column, the words “or territory”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 6 relating to the country “New Zealand”, the following item:

“7.

University of Otago

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)”.

Amendment of Part III of First Schedule

4. Division 2 of Part III of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “Country” in the heading of the first column, the words “or territory”.

Amendment of Part IV of First Schedule

5. Division 2 of Part IV of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “Country” in the heading of the first column, the words “or territory”.

Amendment of Part V of First Schedule

6. Division 2 of Part V of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “Country” in the heading of the first column, the words “or territory”.
