Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures
Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) (paragraphs (a)(ii) and (b)(ii) of the definition of “futures contract”) and 341 of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 22nd April 2014.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 368/2005) is amended by deleting item 15 and substituting the following item:
“15.ICE Futures Singapore Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as “Singapore Mercantile Exchange Pte Ltd”)”.
