Public Entertainments and Meetings (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(2) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2002.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 3, 2002 Ed.) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (b); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (c) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(d)	an offence under section 19(1)(d) of the Act read with rule 4 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Arts Entertainment) Rules 2002 (G. N. No. S 293/2002).”.
