Singapore Armed Forces (Saver Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 205C(8) of the Singapore Armed Forces Act, the Armed Forces Council hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (SAVER Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Amendment of regulation 20

2. Regulation 20(1) of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAVER Fund) Regulations 1998 (G.N. No. S 186/98) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “of the Board” in sub-paragraph (a) and substituting the words “relating to the SAVER Fund”; and

(b)

by deleting sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

“(b)	whether proper accounting and other records have been kept in respect of all transactions involving the SAVER Fund;
(c)	whether the receipts, expenditure and investment of moneys of the SAVER Fund, the acquisition of assets by the Board from the moneys of the Fund and the disposal of such assets during the financial year have been in accordance with the provisions of the Act and these Regulations; and”.
