Sale of Food Act
(Chapter 283)
Sale of Food (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37G(3) of the Sale of Food Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Sale of Food (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2002.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Director-General or any other authorised officer in accordance with section 37G(1) of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 5, 6, 7, 10, 20, 20D(1) or 34 of the Act;
(b)any offence under regulation 261 of the Food Regulations (Rg 1); and
(c)any offence under regulation 14(1) of the Sale of Food (Food Establishments) Regulations 2002 (G. N. No. S 310/2002).
