Home Affairs Uniformed Services Superannuation Act

Home Affairs Uniformed Services (Invest Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Home Affairs Uniformed Services Superannuation Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Regulations may be cited as the Home Affairs Uniformed Services (INVEST Fund) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall, with the exception of regulation 4, come into operation on 30th January 2007.
(2)  Regulation 4 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st October 2001.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Home Affairs Uniformed Services (INVEST Fund) Regulations (Rg 1) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “Compensation Account”.
Amendment of regulation 10
3.  Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (a).
Amendment of regulation 11
4.  Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (3) and substituting the following paragraph:
(3)  The Board may, during or after each financial year, declare a dividend out of the net income and net unrealised profits of the Fund for that financial year or credit interest at such rate as the Board shall determine for that financial year to any of the subsidiary accounts of each member of the INVEST Plan or the Scheme, as the case may be.”.
Amendment of regulation 13
5.  Regulation 13 (3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Compensation Account,”.
Amendment of regulation 16
6.  Regulation 16 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Compensation Account,”.
