Road Traffic (Exemption from Section 12) (Amendment) Order 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Exemption from Section 12) (Amendment) Order 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2007.

Amendment of paragraph 4

2. Paragraph 4 of the Road Traffic (Exemption from Section 12) Order 2005 (G.N. No. S 722/2005) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “work permit or an employment pass issued under the Immigration Act (Cap. 133)” and substituting the words “work pass issued under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (Cap. 91A)”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “work permit or employment pass” in the paragraph heading and substituting the words “work pass”.
