(SEA Games 2015) (Exemption)
Order 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (SEA Games 2015) (Exemption) Order 2015.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“official label” means an official label issued by the SEA Games 2015 Organising Committee;

“SEA Games 2015” means the 28th South East Asian Games to be held in Singapore from 5 June 2015 to 16 June 2015 (both dates inclusive).

Exemption

3. Rule 8 of the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) Rules (R 23) does not apply in relation to a vehicle used or owned by a person set out in the Schedule and displaying an official label during the period from 28 May 2015 to 17 June 2015 (both dates inclusive).
