Parliamentary Elections
(Electronic Applications)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of the Parliamentary Elections Act 1954, the Prime Minister makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Parliamentary Elections (Electronic Applications) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 June 2023.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. In the Parliamentary Elections (Electronic Applications) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 96/2009), in regulation 2 —

(a)

replace the regulation heading with —

“Definitions”;

(b)

in the definition of “appropriate form”, in paragraph (a), replace “11 Prinsep Link, Singapore 187949” with “11 Novena Rise, Singapore 307516”; and

(c)

in the definition of “appropriate form”, in paragraph (b), replace “http://www.eld.gov.sg” with “https://www.eld.gov.sg”.

Deletion of regulation 5

3. In the Parliamentary Elections (Electronic Applications) Regulations 2009, delete regulation 5.
