Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports) Notification 2006

Responsibility for Portfolio of Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Wong Kan Seng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, shall, with effect from 30th May 2006, be charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports in so far as such responsibility relates to the following matters:

(a)	People’s Association;
(b)	Grassroots Organisations (including Constituency Sports Clubs); and
(c)	Community Development Councils.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports) Notification 2006.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 550/2004) is cancelled.
