(Exemption) (No. 18)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 18) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Owners’ Lucky Draw 2011” promotion to be held from 10th June 2011 to 31st December 2011 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this paragraph as the relevant period) and the draws on every Friday and Sunday at 9 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, during the relevant period, at Owners’ Lounge, Level 2 of the Singapore Racecourse.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 9th June 2011.
