Environmental Public Health (Notice to Attend Court) (Amendment) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 113(1) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Notice to Attend Court) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 2nd July 2002.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Environmental Public Health (Notice to Attend Court) Regulations (Rg 13) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

METHOD AND PROCEDURE OF PAYMENT
(a) (i) Where your offence is one of those listed in regulation 1(1) above, you may have the offence compounded within 14 days from the date on which you attend the briefing session.
 
(ii) Where your offence is NOT one of those listed in regulation 1(1) above, you may have the offence compounded after at least 3 days and within 14 days from the date of the issue of this Notice.
 
(b) Payment must be made in full.
 
(c) Partial or late payment received in the form of cheque, money order or postal order will be returned to you and the offer of composition shall be deemed to have been withdrawn.
 
(d) Every cheque shall be crossed “A/C Payee Only” and every cheque, money order or postal order shall be made payable to “National Environment Agency” and sent to the Finance Department, National Environment Agency, Environment Building, 40 Scotts Road, Singapore 228231. This Notice to Attend Court must accompany the payment. Please ensure that your Name and NRIC No. are written on the reverse side of your cheque, money order or postal order.
 
(e) Payment may be made through AXS stations one of which is located at the Southern Environmental Health District Office at 4545 Jalan Bukit Merah, Singapore 159466.
 
(f) Payment by cash, NETS or CashCard may be made at the cashier’s counter at the Environment Building, 40 Scotts Road, Singapore 228231 between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays and between 9.00 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturdays and the eve of the following:
 
(i) Christmas Day;
 
(ii) New Year’s Day;
 
(iii) Hari Raya Puasa; and
 
(iv) Chinese New Year.”.
