Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics
(WoodlandsHealth Pte Ltd — Exemption)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21 and 22(1) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (WoodlandsHealth Pte Ltd — Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 27 April 2020.

New regulation 1A

2. The Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (WoodlandsHealth Pte Ltd — Exemption) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 258/2020) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 1, the following regulation:

“Definition

1A. In these Regulations, “licensed premises” means each of the following:

(a)	Halls 1, 2 and 3 of the Singapore Expo Convention Hall and Exhibition Centre;
(b)	Halls 4 to 7 of the Singapore Expo Convention Hall and Exhibition Centre.”.

Amendment of regulation 2

3. Regulation 2 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (WoodlandsHealth Pte Ltd — Exemption) Regulations 2020 is amended by deleting the words “Halls 1, 2 and 3 of the Singapore Expo Convention Hall and Exhibition Centre (called in these Regulations the licensed premises)” and substituting the words “any licensed premises”.
