(Traffic Signs) (Exemption)
Order 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) (Exemption) Order 2011.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“full-day bus lane” means a full-day bus lane as described in rule 7(11A) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33);
“specified bus” means a bus bearing any of the following vehicle registration numbers:
(a)PA3187E;
(b)PA5261K;
(c)PA3978P;
(d)PA3968T;
(e)PA5242R; and
(f)PA5244K.
Exemption
3.  Rule 8(1A) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (R 33) shall not apply to any person who drives a specified bus, or causes or permits a specified bus to remain, on any full-day bus lane on 18th June 2011 for the purpose of taking up or setting down Thai citizens, and no others, at the bus stop bearing the bus stop number 09179 and located outside the Royal Thai Embassy along Orchard Road.
