| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Rules 2011 and shall come into operation on 22nd June 2011. |
| Amendment of rule 9A |
| 2. Rule 9A of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5) is amended by deleting the words “31st December 2011” in paragraph (3)(b) and (c) and substituting in each case the words “31st December 2012”. |
| Amendment of rule 9AA |
| 3. Rule 9AA of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules is amended by deleting the words “31st December 2011” in paragraph (3)(a), (b) and (c)(i) and (ii) and substituting in each case the words “31st December 2012”. |
