(Exemption) (No. 28)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 28) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Treasures of Dragon Draw” promotion to be held from 1 June 2018 to 20 January 2019 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Opening Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Sands Dragon Slots Room and Atrium 3 within the casino premises at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	7 July 2018;
(ii)	29 September 2018;
(iii)	29 December 2018; and

(c)

the “Finale Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Sands Dragon Slots Room and Atrium 3 within the casino premises at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

(i)	28 July 2018 and 29 July 2018;
(ii)	20 October 2018 and 21 October 2018;
(iii)	19 January 2019 and 20 January 2019.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
