Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 24C and 28(2)(h) of the Public Transport Council Act, the Public Transport Council, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 2 June 2015.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 303/2008) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “adult monthly travel pass”, the following definition:

“ “adult off‑peak monthly travel pass” means a ticket at a discounted fare which is valid for making multiple trips using the basic bus service, or rapid transit system service, or both services, during off‑peak hours for a fixed period as stated under the conditions of use, and which may only be used by a person if he is entitled to do so under the conditions of use;”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “adult monthly travel pass” in the definition of “concession ticket”, the words “and an adult off‑peak monthly travel pass”.
