(Chapter 62)

Co-operative Societies (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 95 and 100F of the Co-operative Societies Act, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Co-operative Societies (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2009.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Co-operative Societies (Composition of Offences) Rules 2008 (G.N. No. S 620/2008) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a); and

(b)

by deleting the comma at the end of paragraph (b) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraphs:

“(c)	section 100(1)(g) read with section 72(2) of the Act; or
(d)	rule 6(2) of the Co-operative Societies Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 349/2009),”.
