Customs Duties (Exemption) (Amendment)
Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1998.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Item 10 in Part I of the Schedule to the Customs Duties (Exemption) Order (O 5) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “All military stores” in column (3), the words “except petrol and high speed diesel”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “, and in the case of petroleum shall have added to it such colouring substances,” in the second, third and fourth lines of condition (a) in column (4).
