(Disbursement of Moneys from Sinking Fund)
(Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33 (6) (a) (v) and 57 of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Town Councils (Disbursement of Moneys from Sinking Fund) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 7th August 2000.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2(1) of the Town Councils (Disbursement of Moneys from Sinking Fund) Rules (R 5) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of sub-paragraph (b); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (c) and substituting the word “; or”, and by inserting, immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(d)	setting up an office for use by a management corporation constituted or to be constituted in relation to one or more buildings within the Town.”.
