Nanyang Technological University Constitution (Amendment) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(2) of the Nanyang Technological University Act, the Minister for Education, on the advice of the Council of the Nanyang Technological University, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Nanyang Technological University Constitution (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1998.

Amendment of section 20 of the Constitution

2. Section 20 of the Constitution of the Nanyang Technological University in the First Schedule to the Nanyang Technological University Act is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following subsection:

“(2) The statutes and regulations of the University in force on the date of publication shall be maintained in electronic form, hardcopies of which shall be made available for purchase by members of the public at a reasonable price.”.
